ANCOM on Murray Inc. [ABN: 58 742 996 740] is an ACNC registered charity in the process of registration as an RTO. It will focus on the provision of Residential VET Training and supervised Industry Experience programs both onshore and onboard ocean-going cruise ships.
ANCOM on Murray Inc. has two campuses:
- Australian Cruise Academy - contracted and sponsored by a cruise company working foreign cruise ships on the Australian coast and into the South Pacific. Academy will provide Australian Accredited Residential Academy training onboard cruise ship in all aspects of tourism, hospitality, care services and associated industries. The first admission of students is expected in Semester one of 2019 (February)
- College on Murray - is in preliminary planning to establish a riverfront campus on the Murray in South Australia. Decisions to proceed with this project will be made by July 2019.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- This flexible role can be provided from an efficient, remote online location with fast reliable internet access for secure cloud data storage. It may be ideal for a graduate with knowledge of database management, Vocational Training and young family commitments.
- Some attendance at Training locations and team meetings will be required.
- The Training Manager (RTO Documents, Website management and Teacher Communications) is accountable to the Principal for the efficient management of the RTO including website together with the integrated online RTO management system PowerPro RTO and Teaching staff communications.
The Training Manager will:
- Effectively and efficiently manage the administrative processes of the RTO through the PowerPro RTO cloud-based management system integrated with the website, ensuring that all staff are competent in the use of the online systems.
- Participate in ASQA RTO Audit processes as required by the Principal
A total salary package is negotiable in the range $60,000 - $70,000 pa.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Demonstrated ability to establish positive effective working relationships with Academy staff and students, and an ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to maintain effective office systems, organise priorities and meet agreed timelines.
- Successful experience in the use of RTO technology and communication systems and experience in working independently and as part of a team to achieve desired outcomes, providing services to a wide range of people both in the office and onboard ships at sea.
- A commitment to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment; and the legislative requirements of Equal Opportunity and Work Health and Safety legislation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum, Current TAE IV in Training and Assessment
- Competent in computer cloud-based clerical functions including website management and bookkeeping
- Competent in the use of online management systems and communication
